Growing your income as a yoga teacher gets a lot easier when you build an ecosystem around one specific offer. This strategy not only simplifies your business model but also maximizes your revenue and impact. In this blog post, I’ll guide you through the steps to create a thriving ecosystem around your signature offer, allowing you to scale your online yoga business efficiently.
Step 1: Define Your Signature Offer
Your signature offer is the core of your ecosystem. It should be a clear, transformative program that addresses a significant pain point or desire for your ideal students. Think about a program that delivers profound results and can become the foundation of your business.
For example, my signature offer is a 6-month program called Elevate. This program is designed to help yoga teachers build their online businesses from the ground up, including everything from getting organized to marketing strategies and personalized coaching. Elevate helps yoga teachers create their first online yoga offerings and make sales, with participants typically making between 8 and 30 sales for their first launch.
This is the main offer, the queen of my offers. Everything else I create either nourishes this offer or complements it.
Step 2: Create Supporting Offers
Once you have your signature offer, think about additional products or services that can support and enhance it. These could be smaller, more affordable offers leading to your main program or high-ticket offers that act as a level 2 after students have completed your signature offer.
In my ecosystem, the $44 mini-course called The 50K Method serves as an entry-level offer. For those who have completed Elevate and want to scale their business to consistent $5k-$10k months, I offer The Momentum Mastermind. Additionally, I have mid-tier offers like Effortless Content, The Podcast Launch Plan For Yoga Teachers, High Ticket Offer, and The Passive Income Academy. These offers complement my signature program without competing with it, ensuring client retention and ongoing engagement.
Step 3: Develop a Value Ladder
A value ladder is a sequence of offers that increase in value and price. Start with a freebie to attract potential students, then offer a mini-offer, a mid-tier offer, and finally, your signature offer as the high-ticket item. This model allows you to start with one offer and gradually create more income through self-paced courses that generate passive income every month.
For instance, I often speak about having a freebie, a mini-offer, a mid-offer, and an anchor offer. You can also add a 1:1 offer if your anchor offer isn’t a 1:1 program. This approach builds a comprehensive business model that caters to different stages of your students’ journeys.
Step 4: Foster a Community
Building a community around your ecosystem is crucial. Not everyone will resonate with your teaching style, so it’s important to have a platform where people can experience your approach before signing up. This can be a podcast or live sessions on social media.
Creating a community allows you to serve your students better and build lasting relationships. My community feels like a family, and I create offers specifically to serve them, helping them build online yoga businesses that generate income even years after launching.
Step 5: Implement an Evergreen Funnel
An evergreen funnel allows you to consistently attract and convert new students into your ecosystem. This automation frees up your time to focus on new projects or simply take a break. Setting up a passive income funnel, also known as an evergreen funnel, will help you get sales on autopilot.
This tool is especially useful when you have multiple offers. It allows your audience to receive personalized email sequences that provide value and present the perfect offer based on their interests.
Step 6: Continuously Improve and Adapt
Always be open to feedback and willing to adapt your ecosystem. Pay attention to what’s working and what isn’t. Ask for feedback from your students and use it to improve your offers and overall strategy.
I take feedback from my students very seriously and constantly implement their suggestions to enhance their experience. This ongoing improvement ensures that my business remains relevant and valuable.
Conclusion: Embrace the Ecosystem Approach
By building an ecosystem around your signature offer, you can create a streamlined, efficient business model that maximizes your impact and revenue. This approach allows you to provide continuous value to your students and establish a strong, supportive community.
Remember, it all starts with a clear, transformative signature offer. From there, build supporting offers, develop a value ladder, foster a community, implement an evergreen funnel, and continuously improve.
